We wanted to spread the good word and help all of you out there in Team Good Skin understand what ingredients are best for you and how they benefit more than just your skin!
Korean Red Ginseng:
Not only is it hydrating and moisturising, it also has a huge range of benefits! Korean red ginseng is a powerful antioxidant, to help in the battle of free radicals and every day pollution on your skin. These antioxidants are also helpful in promoting anti ageing properties, which will aid plumping and hydrating of the skin.
It is also known to boost mental wellbeing and mood, it’s properties have been used for centuries to boost good sleep, enhance overall wellbeing and also has been used to soothe anxiety and depression in studies.

Cranberry and Apple:
For starters, cranberries are packed full of vitamin C which aids collagen production, meaning skin is plumped, glowing and firm. Cranberries also oxygenate skin cells making it easier for your skin to maximise absorption of other essences and serums... essences like Apple.
Apples also boast a high vitamin C content, but also contain completely naturally occurring copper which encourages your skin to produce melanin, this means that your skin will have a more even tone - an even skin tone can help in the even application of make-up, or if you dare to bare it will also leave you with a glowing, nourished complexion.

Rosehip oil has been used for years in the battle against acne and problem skin, it also contains a wide range of antioxidants to detoxify and vitamin A (retinol) which is able to banish dull skin as it encourages cell turnover, bonus!
In ancient medicine it has also been found to have powerful anti inflammatory properties, having been used previously to soothe and aid common skin complaints such as eczema and psoriasis.

Calendula is a miracle worker; used for centuries to aid angry, red skin complaints. It’s a natural antiseptic which means it can assist in the fight against bacteria, whilst also working as a soothing anti inflammatory product.
It has also been used for centuries to lift mood, meaning you will have soft, soothed skin with the bonus of a fabulous mood all day long!

Charcoal benefits boast great detoxifying power, perfect for oily and combination skin types. Its super absorption qualities draw oils and impurities out of the skin without risk of damaging skin which some harsh exfoliants can do.
